Basware is exploring how artificial intelligence can transform the manual invoice matching experience for business and professional users. Today, the system highlights errors with limited detail—leaving users unsure of what’s expected, even after long-term use.
 
We invite you to join a co-creation initiative to help identify real-world use cases where AI can deliver tangible value by guiding users toward the correct follow-up actions.
 
We’re especially interested in areas where AI could assist, such as:
 
  • Suggesting and assisting with matching PO lines and goods receipts to unmatched invoice lines
  • Explaining price differences and guiding users toward standard corporate actions (e.g., approve or dispute), based on historical invoice behavior
  • Clarifying quantity differences and supporting standard follow-up actions, again informed by past invoice handling
  • Providing context for review-required situations that don’t involve price or quantity differences, helping users take the right next step
